In the world of collecting one of the key factors in the valuation of an item’s originality. Two companies which built classic European cars of the 1950s in Germany were Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen. Having launched the W186 and W189 at the beginning of the decade, Mercedes Benz went onto produce what has been described as the greatest car they ever built – the 300S.

Launched in 1952 this wonderful car was followed up by the limited edition 300SC, complete with fuel injection and also featured independent rear suspension. By the end of the 1950s Mercedes produced the ultimate in luxury models with the Fintail, which incorporated a crumple zone, disc brakes and air suspension.

Another German car manufacturer to survive the ravages of war and become part of the countries economic miracle was Volkswagen. The Volkswagen Type 1 or “Beetle” was destined to become hugely popular during the 1950s and well beyond. Production of the VW Beetle reached one million in 1955 and it was to be a top seller in the United States.

In France a classic European car of the 1950s was the Citroen 2CV. Sold mainly in France and within Europe the 2CV was by no means the most majestic of cars, but it was to become one of the most loved and iconic cars ever built by a French manufacturer.

Cars are about everywhere. People find it nowadays, as a necessity that is just very vital in everyday living. Along with it came the necessity of car insurance. Well, at first, it really was just a safety measure. But then, the government required it and so making it necessity. Anyway, it is beneficial to the holder. First off, I don¡¯t need a luxurious car such as a new SUV or a flashy convertible. Again, I focus on the needs, so, I would rather have a regular sedan that is fashionable yet very useful. I need a car; I don ¡t need a grandiose vehicle. Transportation is the function of cars and that is it, so I won ¡t bother much into getting something to do more for me. In my insurance, it gives me a good benefit from car insurance companies and that is the lower premium rate.

The car should not be the only thing practical, but also the way how cars are used. I drive only when I need to. Driving excessively that are unnecessary does a lot of negative effects on you. To name a few, you lose money on gasoline, you become more tired with driving, and you risk yourself into an accident more often. Drive when needed. It gives you lower mileage and premium in insurance anyway.
I am a busy person. We all are. But, I keep to myself my principle in being practical even with the car insurance. In fact, I never buy from one source only, I always docar insurance comparison.

Selling your car can be a tough economical decision.  Sometimes we’re left with very little choice.  Sometimes, that old clunker just needs to be traded up for a new one.  I faced a similar situation with my Nissan and started to wonder where I could get cash for my car. The second idea was to get a “for sale” sign and place it in the windows so I can get calls at work from persons who may see the sign while passing by.  This seemed like a good idea but then I “too passive”, I thought.

I found the internet to be a very good place to sell your car once you find the right site. With so many online car buy and sell services to choose from, finding the best one to buy my car came down to who was offering the best deal.  This is by far the best way because it eliminated the hassle and I could easily compare offers without any hassle.  Once I found a few good ones, I put in a few calls and sold my Nissan in a week.  I took that money and bought a Honda I had already had my eye on.
