Breakdown cover comparison – four levels of choice
I’ve just completed a quick breakdown cover comparison with the assistance of Consumer Choices network website breakdownchoices.co.uk. The basic result of my extensive efforts to compare breakdown cover is that I have learned one buys this particular type of cover by choosing from four different levels of service. Apparently almost every breakdown cover provider in the United Kingdom adheres to this policy of pricing roadside assistance based on tiers. Most level one or basic breakdown cover provides for roadside assistance and a tow of your vehicle to a nearby garage. Level two breakdown cover seems to focus more on inclusion in the service of a tow home. This can be an essential package for those who prefer to repair their automobile themselves. The highest level of domestic only breakdown cover, level three cover includes roadside assistance, a choice of towing to a gar
age or your home and mechanical assistance furnished at your home in the form of a home start. For those whose vehicle includes a dodgy battery or starter, this service is perfect. As you can see we had mentioned only three levels of service and choice, the final offering available to only a few breakdown cover providers such as Green Flag Breakdown and Breakdown Direct includes all of the above services in addition to assistance while traveling abroad in Europe.
